
Women-led Tourism Enterprise Program
Project Overview
Empowering 1,000+ women through self-help groups to create and manage tourism enterprises including homestays, handicraft units, and culinary experiences.
This program will train and empower women across BTR to become tourism entrepreneurs. Activities include traditional Bodo weaving cooperatives, culinary tourism ventures featuring Bodo cuisine, community-managed guest houses, and cultural performance groups. Each SHG will receive business training, micro-credit support, and market linkages.
